Vauxhall Agila (2008 - 2014)
SE 1.2i 16v 5dr People Carrier
quirky but fun to drive
Bought the car to replace an aging Fiat Panda, Liked the look of it and in the cornflower blue, very easy to look at with the eyes. Opted for the punchy 1.2se with air conditioning, as the dealership had a one in there on an ex demo with 6.5k on the clock. With the car been ex demo couldn't get the warranty deal with it but opted for the servicing (comes relevant later)
Car is mainly used for school runs ad odd trips on motorways to Scotland and Wales t visit family. so my average mpg is 47.1 as its says on the trip computer. In the 4 years ive owned the car and it has 43k n the clock so far ive needed new break pads, battery and oh the clutch that went whe I had 32k on the clock. Was quoted £1000+ at the dealership, but took it to an independent garage who did all the work plus tyres and mt for £620 (phew)
other than that it is really easy to drive and parking is really easy, Boot is on the small side as I struggle toget a pushchair in, I do have to take parcel shelf out or lie the stroller along the floor at the back seat.
