Overall reliability

Had 3 recalls with 1st Toyota Yaris. 2nd Toyota Yaris no recalls.

The Toyota Yaris 1.0 is on the whole a very good quality car, is very reliable, comfortable, and safe. My first Toyota Yaris 1.0 T3 car had a Euro 5 star rating despite having 3 recalls. However despite the recalls I bought another brand new Toyota Yaris 1.0 SR last year and have been very pleased with it up to now with no recalls touch wood! Very good servicing and support from my local Toyota dealer, and I got a good deal when I bought the new Toyota Yaris. However my new car does not have a Euro 5 star rating and does not have all the extra safety extras I had previously despite being equivalent to the old T3 in price and model status. I may buy a Suzuki Swift in the future as you get more extras for your money. As a runabout car - very cheap to run and comfortable to drive.
