Toyota RAV4 (2019 on)
2.5 VVT-i Hybrid Design CVT AWD 5dr
Not for all
The RAV4 I may recommend. It does everything it says on the tin and often more. It's more comfortable than expected and that comes from seats and suspension. Build quality appears top notch and economy easily consistent.
Quiet travel is simple.
Thinking about the forerunner, BMW, however the leap to this design has not yet given me a footing I like. Clearly if you have average size hands and work with keyboards, perhaps even if you are blind, you could make a better job of driving than me. I'm grateful god gave me good hands but that's not understood here. Putting aside 'this and that' the cruise control reminds me of my big hands. I can imagine some person saying your greasey BMW hands just need to learn new tactile skills , to which my reply would be , when you use a BMW's cruise control you get the impression the designers considered every nano second of combustion which the driver wants to collaborate with, whereas here it seems someone just designed a switch.
So in summary I 'd recommend the RAV4, but not for some drivers perhaps.
