Even better than the previous version
Having run a 2010 RAV4 petrol auto for three years, I upgraded to the 2013 model. The previous one was great on handling, comfort and equipment, although I would have liked better mpg. However, the new model is new from the wheels up and everything is so much better. Handling is very good, comfort is great and the interior/dash layout is superb. The 2-litre engine is so much more responsive, even from new it performs better than the previous one with some 20K on the clock. The new RAV4 is slightly bigger but gives an improved of the road and the car doesn't have a cumbersome feel about it. Would I swap back, not likely!!
