My third Prius - what's not to like?

The past 2 x Prius T-Spirit have both done 90,000 miles problem-free, and I expect this one to do so just as effortlessly. You can 'just drive it' due to excellent design - but learn how to get the best out of it and it is even better. Just completed 10,000 miles at 60.7mpg including motorway - although if you drive it like you've stolen it the fuel gauge will tell you that as J. Clarkson will confirm, but that is not how normal people drive, is it. First two were company cars (with company car tax under half of what I could have been paying for one of those German things!) and it tells you something that my third is a personal purchase with no hesitation.
Toyota realise just what most of us want from a car and have designed this to suit, with very-well equipped simple effortless transport A-B. The 'head-up display' is a simple benefit - but always miss it if I drive any other car - same with the reversing camera.
Nothing is perfect though - we have a dog and the sloping rear window makes it hot in summer for him to stay inside, hence the choice of sunroof and solar roof on my current car in an effort to combat that (they are rare and I had to search for it). This also adds a solar-powered ventilation fan to keep temperatures inside the parked car sensible - a great idea for hot days.
Don't take my word for it though! But don't just take a 20min test drive, it is a little different and it will feel it (remember your first diesel car...?) - personally I hired one at my own expense for a busy week and did 1,000 miles for a real feel before taking the plunge - 300,000 miles later and I'm still finding things out and appreciating the effort Toyota put into getting it right.
6 million Toyota hybrid owners worldwide, and thousands of taxi drivers can't all be wrong. And no, I don't work for Toyota - just a very satisfied owner who researched and made the right choice.
