1.0 VVT-i 68 3dr Hatchback

superb small 2nd car

Having bought this car from a main dealer as a ex demo the car had done 5000 miles it is a 1.o vvt I.Q.2 with optional leather seats this car has been superb and has been used and molified to tow behind my motorhome and has travelled all over France with no reliability issues at all on average the car covers 6,000 miles per year serviced each year and has been very reliable .If I was to have to gripe it is heavy on brake discs not so much wear but corrostion now on my 3rd set of rears ans 2nd fronts.these vehicles have had a number of recalls all done free of charge .The reason I am writting this review now is that there has just been another and to highlight this to owners that have not bought new and had there car serviced by Toyota to check there cars on the recall checker and for any one that has had issues with the problem and have had to pay the bill themself they may get to claim the moneys back as they will not be picked up if they are not the registered owners on toyota system they will have no letter . The current recall is for exhaust manifold campaign number CGG12 Just took my car in this morning and it consists of new engine manifold, exhaust manifold and cat .This must be costing a fair bit of money so well worth checking if your car is in the batch .Remember it is free and you are intitled to it if the vin number is in the batch does not matter if you have had car serviced by a toyota dealer get checking www.toyota.co.uk/caring-for-your-toyota/owners/recall-checker .
