Toyota Aygo X (2022 on)
Limited Edition VVT-i x-shift Auto 5dr
Great little car
Swapped my 6 year old Aygo Limited Semi Auto for this.
What a leap forward the CVT gearbox is a great improvement on the previous semi automated manual so long as you use it as a CVT should be used. I have had CVTs on numerous Lexus and Toyotas and like them. I also drive a BMW 4 series convertible with the superb BMW 8 speed auto but you have to realise that this is horses for courses. My wife loves the Limited spec despite it appearing to be expensive at almost £22k. She has been stopped many times by other motorists admiring the styling. Admittedly in my opinion it is a good car searching for a better engine, but used as what it was intended for it is adequate. It is exceptionaly well equiped in Limited trim and in fact has much ot the kit as standard that I had to pay extra for on my BMW. The safety cerdentials for such a small car are outstanding. The old Aygo had only covered 20k mls in 6 yrs and had been ultra reliable but as this car is mostly used by my wife I do like all the safety teatures and she loved the interior and sunroof and is so easy to drive and constantly gets high 50s MPG even here in the Lake district.
