Comfy, reliable, gentle

Exactly what l want in a car. For 10 years it has taken us quietly, reliably and comfortably everywhere we wanted to go. Load- lugging is very good as is rear seat comfort. My only real criticism is that the 1.8 petrol engine seems a bit underpowered at times. I don't like the electronic handbrake either but have got used to it. Nor do l like the thin spare wheel (so far unused) but the well is there for when l get round to picking up a proper wheel from a breaker. The satnav and radio are simple and work well, but the data does not update automatically, relying on a paid-for refresher. There are no parking sensors but the rear tv camera is a blessing, especially when connecting up to a trailer. The service team at the dealer (Steven Eagell, Bedford) are exemplary.
