SsangYong Korando (2011 - 2019)
Korando 4wd auto
Excellent value for money.
I bought this car after test driving many SUV type vehicles, as a replacement for my Mercedes 220 e class estate which I could no longer get down into as I have a dicky left arm. My Mercedes was a fully loaded 08 estate, my 5th Mercedes
I wanted a foot flat rear deck and most cars I tried did not fold completely flat, even the Mazda CX5 which I liked. That did not have a full sized spare wheel and had only just been launched so no demo,s for sale. I drive to Southern Spain twice a year so a spare wheel is essential, I have had a blow out once in my merc and a tyre slashed in Madrid overnight, I am therefore very wary of cars with either no spare wheel or a blow up thingy. The
Korando is very comfortable over long distances and quiet, the engine is noisy on start up but soon quietens down. The car is very well equipped , I have added tow bar, reversing camera, front parking sensors. It comes with sat nav, climate control, heated front and rear seats, electric front drivers, sunroof(electric), emergency braking puts on the hazard lights, rear electric socket for my freezer box, heated front and rear screen, super wash wipe system, great radio, a continental travel kit.
It tows extremely well has huge torque. I actually prefer this car to my Mercedes!
