2.0TDI 150ps SE Technology SCR 5dr

Nice car but very noisy and terrible sat nav.

The car is overall nice to drive but far from perfect. I came from a 2015 1.5TD 120bho Ford Mondeo and due to it being a company car had little choice.

The Engine is a gem, very flexible and good on the fuel, almost the same as Mondeo local runs, however not as good on very long runs where the Mondeo could see 70mpg. Superb is 65mpg. rest of the time its 543 which is 2mpg less than Mondeo. I can live with this as I get a better rate with the bigger engine when doing company miles.

Overall its a nice car, leather inside and the electric adjust seat is great as it always is in my position. The LED headlights are very good, they really light up the road. I would not like to get caught in the beam as they are a bit bright and I cannot adjust the level as it is auto level. Which sometimes is a bit high.

What I do not like about this car is the noise. Road noise is terrible, part of this is the tyres which are 72db a corner. I hope they do not last long and I can get onto 69db a corner. Next the Sat Nav. It is like a TOM TOM from 10 years ago, very slow and plots you before the junction, when in reality you have already passed it. The graphics and visual instructions are outdated and basically terrible. I'm sure they are using 10 year old maps. It has missing streets that have been here for many years. Glad I'm not somebody who needs a sat-nav to get places.

Basically all the electronic features like auto-wipe are yesterdays tech, so nothing is like wow. Which is disappointing when the car was 30K.

When I got the car one of the air vents was stiff and I took it to the dealer who said it was not covered by warranty and I needed to pay £150. So the dealers are no better than any other one. I did get it replaced under warranty after contacting Skoda UK.

Overall I would not recommend this car, its not value for money. Buy a Mondeo and put in +50% bulbs its better car to live with.
