Excellent

mines black with cream leather interior now done 70k and looks brand new.
this car drives well, fast when you want it and economical(when not booting it).
average mix of motoring getting 45-50mpg.
as for comments about dsg box ,you get used to it ,its not an auto although it acts like one, its a twin clutch manual box with gears 1,3,5 on 1 clutch and 2,4,6 on the other controlled by computer.
you can tell its changed gear by looking at the screen between the dials!, very smooth. they do paddles and manual switching but I haven't bothered with that never felt the need, occasionally put in sport mode.
loads of room inside and very comfy.
I just hit 70k so did cam-belt, service and gearbox service plus mot at cost of £740 from local garage. that's the expensive 1 every 40k (4 years or 80k).

has manual hand brake :) ,electric ones on Passat are an expensive failure point.

the bad

satnav, 7 digit postcodes ARE available but will need firmware update, check briskoda and vwnavi website.
other than that the hdd's fail and so do the motherboards, if under 6 years old time for the sale of goods act.
when I quoted this it dropped from 1500 to dealer/skoda paying 50% each for repair.
see a local autorepair for this (seriously cheaper and it NEEDS to talk to the can gateway for certain things) so motherboard, firmware and can need to be working together.
if you use USB then check for the mdi module and leads. may not have them, £120 ish from ebay plus fitting.

Bluetooth for phones , for iphones and others you will need to replace the Bluetooth module under drivers seat(2009 model), check above websites for correct one, about £80 off ebay, 5 minutes to replace.
so if buying connect your phone!

rear wiper would be good, front parking sensors also nice if you can get them.

would I buy another? oh yes in a heartbeat
