Easy and simple Drive

I have had this vehicle since April 16, Purchased it with only 1600 miles on the clock, It drives very well indeed and I could only recommend this model as it has the 6 speed gearbox which does make a difference and the engine is fairly nippy with a 110 BHP. In my Opinion this is the best model but I would never buy a new one as I feel they are way too expensive. I have done nearly 3000 miles in it and coming from a diesel to petrol I was a little worried but I have been quite amazed with the economy of it, the only time it is different is if you start thrashing it through the gears. It will sit on the motorway quite comfortable and is very quiet.

Now I have had the car some time there are a few little irritating things such as,

Sometimes when you start the engine it rattles.. I did speak to Skoda UK about this and got nowhere. I went to my local Skoda garage and the Technician was extremely helpful and knew of the problem and said it had been referred to Skoda UK before and they say its a characteristic of the engine, which I feel is a bit of a fob off because I believe in the long term it is going damage something.

The stop and go technology seems to sometimes be intermittent and you cannot switch it off permanently, the technician tells me that it has to do so many calculations that it does sometimes miss, but this is a little frustrating.

Bluetooth, Again it sometimes has a mind of its own and a couple of times a month it looses my phone and I have to re programme it in again.

The driver seat can be somewhat uncomfortable on long journeys and would help if it had a better lumbar support or adjustment

Even with the above I do like the car but do wish Skoda UK would iron out the problems which they are fully aware of. we have to live in hope that they may sort it out.
