fast and fun
A good fast easy to drive fun car. As ever an ideal combination of a large lightly stressed engine in a small car does produce economy.
I have had the usual VAG issues (water ingress via rear doors, broken electric windows), but this doesn't really dampen my enthusiasm for this little car.
Economy real world 46-48mpg, 6 speed gearbox linked to the strong engine means that there is little need to rev hard to make decent progress.
the engine is heavy, so expect to get through tyres, the standard (Continental) are grippy, but wear through in 12 - 15 months.
dealers are good, and are happy to give advice as well as fix your car.
