Extremely competent

After 1800 miles in 8 weeks, I find my Citigo (with 75 PS engine) is becoming a lot smoother. Mine's really a "Countrigo" as it rarely enters City Limits. The seating position is a dead ringer for the Fabia it replaced. Compared with the Fabia (1.2 12v version) it is much more economical, smoother and less stressed at speed, and handles better too; steering is more direct. The Navigon "spidgeadicmandradora" thingy is a nice toy and genuinely helpful when you're trying to save fuel or in Satnav mode. With £0 road tax and cheap insurance, what's not to like?...

...well, to be honest, the boot! It's unlined except for a derisory mat on the floor, and has no light. The paintwork inside is vulnerable to being scratched by awkward loads (e.g. my french horn) so I use a car rug as a protecting apron. It needs a re-spec by Skoda.

An extremely competent car but lacks the soul of a Panda.
