Pleased I bought it...so far

Excellent value for money as I got a huge discount; only three gripes;

1; the Seat tow bar fitted after I bought it was eye wateringly expensive but is actually quite good as it folds away out of sight. It tells you on the dash display if any of the trailer lights aren't working when the trailer lights plugged in.

2; the electric handbrake will unexpectedly release from time to time such that I always park it in gear and try not to park it on a slope. The hill assist hand brake will often release as soon as I take my foot off the brake pedal. Seat say they haven't come across this problem before. Although I am sure I read something on Honest John there was an issue but so far I have been unable to track down the relevant chassis numbers.

3; no spare tyre just a pump and a can of squirty stuff. Have since bought a space saver spare tyre, jack, and a wheel brace from an independent supplier of such things at a fraction of Seat quoted prices.

I am 6'3", the seats are exceedingly comfortable and just about enough leg room. I look after 4 large horses, the back of the car is cavernous with the rear seats folded down and will take 5 bales of hay. Love the LED headlights but think oncoming traffic may have a different opinion!

I no longer use the Seat garage I bought the car from as they bombarded me with text and emails about my buying a new car the day after I bought mine. The car salesman said that a new car is no longer supplied with an owners manual to save paper and I should download a copy off the net. I now have one which I am pleased about as it explained the rigmarole when adding adblue. When I collected the car it was dark and raining. Got the keys to the car, got in, started it up and the dash display said I had zero miles worth of fuel. Nearest garage along a dual carriageway 3 miles away. The parts manager was less than helpful and the service manager seemed to always be at a meeting. I now go to a Seat dealership that although is further away its a lot easier to get to. All the staff there are approachable and available. Not had any maintenance or repairs as yet but it did come with a 3 year warranty and the garage do fixed price servicing so have an idea of cost before any work is done. I used to have a Seat Leon Cupra 150tdi which was always serviced at a reasonable cost. Had that for 10 years, the only repair other than routine servicing was the turbo pipe blew off which was fixed with a new hose clip..
