Ive Had Better

I bought the car new in 2010. its a 1.4 tce (petrol turbo)
I Have had a few problems but they fail to fix first time (mostly 3 or 4 visits)
1) will not start(turn over) push the start button nothing happens, this happened in only a few weeks of owning, one time leaving me stranded in the snow at the NEC Birmingham for 4 hours.
Renault said it was a fuse on the starter motor, after a few more fails and visits to the garage they replace the starter motor.
2)Charging fault, once again they could not find the fault even calling us liars but when we showed then the video of the warning sign on the screen the alternator was replaced and some of the loom (if i remember correctly). and it went away.
I ended up taking out a extended warranty as I was scared it could cost me a lot of money after a discussion with Renault UK I agreed to a half price extended warranty.
Once again i have a electrical problem the engine management light has started flashing so i had a local garage plug in there diagnostic machine it told me there was a miss fire on cylinder 3 so i booked it in with Renault they have charged me £50 to tell me what i told them and want over £100 to find the fault and that's with the extended warranty watch this space
