Renault Laguna Coupe (2009 - 2012)
GT dCi 180 FAP 2dr Coupe
Looks gorgeous, attracts admiring glances and comments from strangers and is a rare sight on the road.
My previous review was made when the car had an underlying fault and was not running correctly. An air pipe near the MAF sensor which had been fitted incorrectly caused it to slip into "get you home mode" so it was not running properly. It now pulls away well and easily from a standstill and is very smooth. The average MPG is still 39 mpg which I thought was poor. I fitted a tuning box from BHP Plus and its now a far better car all round. The MPG averages 49 Mpg whilst on mixed roads on a commute and over 50 mpg on the motorway at 80 mpg. It is now faster, smoother through the gears and pulls like a train. I still have the dashboard rattle but this is due to our r****** roads, I drive to the south of France and the roads are great so it doesn't occur. The car is whisper quiet and I have driven for a thousand miles in a day without a problem as it is also comfortable. The rarity of the car is great as you do not see many of them on the road and people are always commenting at patrol station on how lovely it looks. Its a shame that the depreciation in value is so high as the car deserves to retain its value. I now have 23k on the clock and its proving to be a very reliable and fun car.
