When it developes faults, they’re terminal
Great car with lovely engine and great fuel economy - when it worked.
Unfortunately, the ECU and fuse box are located directly below the rain channels and get soaked. There is also a fault where screenwash tracks up the wiring loom and into the ECU. I was quoted £2000 by a Peugeot dealer to replace the loom - with the proviso that it may not fully cure the problem and I may have to replace the ECU and BSI if it didn’t.
Peugeot have, in my opinion, built a dud, and I for one, will never buy one again.
