Not sure I made the right choice

The car looks awesome in its Orange Fusion paintwork. It looks great inside and is reasonably comfortable although the Hyundai Tucson it replaced was more refined.
It's quick, easy to drive and soaks up most bumps quite well. The technology is ok but nothing really special.
The seats are small with no lumbar support and have to be adjusted manually. Not great really on a car this expensive. There's no brake auto hold function so you either have to keep your foot on the brake or engage the electronic parking brake at junctions. I know this isn't a big deal but after having owned a car with an auto brake function I really miss it.
The focal speaker system is pretty awful to be honest. There's no warmth to the sound at all and its flat with no depth. Even after having adjusted the three band 'equaliser,' this doesn't sound like a 500 quid audio system.
The 10 inch centre screen is a pain in the neck to navigate. The simple act of adjusting the temperature is not so simple and Peugeot have gone for looks over practicality.
For a car this expensive there are a lot of features missing that its rivals have as standard. Although I like it, I wish I'd test driven the 3008 or gone for another Tucson. Now that is a car that's worth every penny.
If you're leaning towards the 2008, you really need to spend a few hours in one first to appreciate that a 45 minute test drive isn't enough to spot the niggles.
