Peugeot 108 (2014 - 2022)
1.0 72 Allure 5dr
French Flair on a budget !
My Peugeot 108 is Flame ?? Red which is one of the best colour choices in my humble opinion…the outside styling on the allure is mature, trendy but understated too,the chrome styling is a neat touch..I personally think out of the three similar cars the look of the 108 compared to the Aygo & C1 has the best visual appeal.
The interior is roomy & airy thanks to the massive windscreen & large windows.it’s basic but functional inside,my car equipped with Apple Car Play, reversing camera & decent stereo make living with the 108 a joy.
The 3 pot 1.0 litre with 72bhp I find characterful, playful & with its love for revs it’s a interesting & interactive driving experience…it’s nippy around town & competent enough on the motorway sitting at around 60-70mph.Fuel economy is outstanding & unbelievably good at times averaging 50mpg around town,up to 58mpg on the motorway & my personal best was 72mpg on B roads.
I’ve only owned the car just over 1 week so I’m maybe not as qualified to comment as others on this characterful little city car & my 108 has only done 4500 miles at this point.
Things I don’t like are…my window rattleds wen I have it down a little bit, some of the plastics used are a little under par & the boot could be larger but all said & done it’s a small Peugeot,a city car & built to a price.
All in all then I feel this car has bags of character, style & personality…I love driving it & I would most definitely recommend one to a friend or colleague.
