Nissan Qashqai (2014 - 2021)
1.2 DIG-T 115 Acenta Premium 2WD 5dr SUV
Its good but I dont love it.....
Lets face it the new generation Qashqai is a good looking car, inside and out. My higher specified Acenta Premium is brimming with kit, most of which I do not use, some are just in all honesty just gimmicks. I dont really need a camera to display the speed limit on the road, the panoramic roof seemed like a good idea as the back is quite gloomy with the privacy glass, it does however make the car very warm inside if sitting in the sun. The car is advertised as being a family car, my experience is that the trim is not built for small people, the plastic marks easily especially around the door sills. Fuel economy is quite good, the 1.2 engine is quite nippy but be very warned keep the revs up if you approach a roundabout in second, the turbo does take an age to kick in, rev it and it goes well. DAB and Sat-Nav all work fine, I really find the touch screen very distracting while driving though. Nissan as a company were difficult to deal with when my car arrived with a dent and scratch, the goodwill of the dealership sorted it out but the customer service from Nissan left a lot to be desired. The black trim around the bumper and wheels goes grey after it is cleaned, takes a lot of buffing to get back to black. Very easy to drive, the boot is not as big as it looks, quite shallow with the parcel shelf in place. I have had mine a year and am about to change it, I simply do not love it enough to keep it. Not cheap either.
