Disappointing - Plug in hybrid model

Positives - The interior is very nice with lots of space for the driver and passengers and also has a large sun roof. The car is fairy quick in electric mode and I am using the 360 camera much more than I thought I would which makes parking in tight spaces fairly easy. The latest model comes with tinted rear windows which do look better than the older models. Cheap to run on a short journey when only the electric is needed.

Negatives - In cold weather or on a long journey, the car is really uneconomical to run. The fuel tank only carries enough fuel for 300 miles and only achieves about 32mpg in petrol mode.

The front windscreen freezes more on the inside than the outside and the heaters take 20 minutes to warm up so do not clear it. I literally ice sc***e the inside of the car each morning and then mop up all the ice from the dashboard and the seats. This is not a fault on just my car. I called the dealership and they said they all do it. The car will not work in electric mode with the heating on. This car is not built for cold weather.

The boot is tiny with the electric motor in the back and then you also need to store your charging cables in there. The 20 second lag on the dashboard display makes me doubt I had pressed it in the first place and then I end up pressing again and picking the wrong option.

My car was delivered without the DAB radio installed due to lack of chips so I have a cable sticking out from my glove compartment that plugs into the dashboard. Apparently, the car will be recalled when the chips are available.
