Great fun , practical. Good not to follow the crowd .

After having a very poor 15 plate where various things were going wrong, i decided to give the MG3 one chance after hearing about upgrades. Especially with the timing chain and stop/start . After some searching i found my current 3 on a 66 plate in early 2018 with 8.5k miles on the clock . It now has 19.5 k in Oct 20 and as of writing this the car has been faultless . My wife and 10yr old daughter also love it .
The only thing that has annoyed me is the cost of dealership servicing. As my car is coming up to it's 4 year service MG want to charge alot of money for it . As this car is out warranty i have sourced my own genuine parts, including very good oil and an taking it to a local MG garage ( non dealership ) and saving 50% of cost.
But i do recommend the 3 . Yes the engine is dated . But used right it is still responsive and perky .
