Capable, comfortable and classy

Elegance suspension set-up gives a superb ride improved even further by fitting Continental TS850 Winter tyres with no fuel consumption sacrifice. Smooth gearchanges and as much instant acceleration power as anyone needs from kickdown/sport mode. People and luggage carrying capacity is good although taller folk find a slight lack or rear legroom. Good driving position with reasonable amount of adjustment although a little more height would be preferable for me. Instruments reasonably well laid out and easy to use but, in certain situations, the small cruise control stalk behind the indicator/main beam/front and rear washers and wipers stalk can be engaged inadvertently - I would prefer it to be elsewhere. Mercedes Shrewsbury services the car and does a good job. Depreciation is rather scary and I suppose will be even more so when the new model arrives later this year. But, quite frankly, I am not looking to replace the vehicle anytime soon unless air suspension becomes widely available in a quality brand at a realistic price.
as this car does everything pretty well is good to drive and has great car park appeal.
