Superb - high quality, quick and very economical.

Feels much quicker than the 6.2 second 0-60 rating as the 250Nm electric motor kicks in instantly, falling in any turbo lag. The silent arrival and departure is a novelty, but the main benefit for me is, when cruising on flat motorway having the diesel engine cut out and having miles of “free” travel, before an uphill gradient (or battery depletion) starts the diesel engine - so smoothly that you only know by checking the tachometer.
AMG Line suspension is a little stiff, but the seats are excellent and there are no squeaks or rattles, even on badly potholed roads.
My initial concerns about the mere 50 litre fuel tank have proved unfounded as over the last 9000 miles I’ve averaged 53.9mpg including my 12 mile daily commute in North London.
Zero road tax is a bonus too, saving me about a tenner a week.
