Bought for a larger flat loading high level boot, for carrying a folded wheelchair, which was returned to Red Cross months later.
The ride is harder than our previously owned used Passat and polo it replaced. 17” low profile tyres. 5 speed manual. In solid night black with Autoglym finish. MPG varies considerably from mid thirties to mid fourties’ depending on distance a driving style.
Leather seats - vast capacity when rear seats down. Comfortable. Excellent sound system with great woofer in with full size spare. Bi Xenon lighting. Elevated seating. Electric adjustable f seats. Still immaculate. Mobile phone incorporated in central armrest. Hands free operation if needed. We opted for long term arrangement for servicing with our local main dealer/s near Southampton Parkway Station. Added advantage of free Mercedes Emergency Callout Service. Brilliant response times reassuring and comprehensive approach.
Twice needed Mercedes’ Callout. Loss of power at Mway junction - faulty fuel injector, and a rapid fail puncture. Wife is main driver, nurse now retired. Used for full time work and weekend longer leisure runs.
Cost originally 26k now offered £700 as value.
