Mazda 6 (2013 - 2022)
2.2 GSX Wagon
Overall excellent, more luxurious than previous Mazdas
Ride, handling and real-world acceleration all great, plenty of room well finished.
But.
Sloping front pillars affect visibility, short drivers may not be able to see over bonnet, really needs all it's parking sensors and the reversing camera.
Why can't I have a temperature gauge instead of i**** lights that tell you when you have already cooked your engine, or driven for years overcooled with a dud thermostat?; you can check it from time to time with a cheap plugin OBD2 monitor.
I have found there are 58 i**** lights that could come on according to the handbook.
DPF actively regenerates every 220km approx, is this programmed regardless of the state of the DPF??
Oil level does rise a little between it's 6 monthly/4000ml/6000km oil change, maybe 200ml.
Front tyres will do 22000 miles.
Update 10/19
Oil level rising ? 500ml/5000km!!
Vacuum pump failure(paid for by Mazda)
Now rear brake caliper failure not covered by Mazda despite a massive general recall for this
All@ 58000km only
