Mazda 6 (2013 - 2022)
2.5 GT Sport Nav 4dr auto
Stunning interior and shows family cars can be enjoyable
We didn't want the usual 4x4 type of vehicle for our new family so chose this rather unusual model of Mazda 6 in this new trim level. Coming from a Lexus I thought it would be a huge step downmarket but it was actually quite a surprise. Build is very high, finish and detailing is great for the money and it is nice to drive. Very practical and not bad on fuel too. The handling is good although a little overrated- certainly not as sharp as my IS200t and the engine is extremely gruff mainly when cold. Drive train not as smooth and little things like not being able to watch dvds from the CD drive or close the sunroof from the keys are gripes but minor ones- the car is around £8000 less than the Lexus was new so what should I expect. The interior is a nicer place to be and infotainment is simpler. Overall a very stylish looking car too. Well done Mazda- a huge improvement from the early 2013 models.
