Snazzy, sharp, super looks, spacious

Having considered a Jaguar XF and an Audi A5 I was pleased to get a good deal on this car as the looks won't date as fast and the price for a very similar package is much lower. I took a zero-percent PCP package, got a discount on the showroom model (no miles) and a grand for taking out the no-cost finance, presumably as an incentive to look for a replacement in 42 months time if I don't keep it.

It's a real driving pleasure - I'm glad it was the petrol version given the recent news that diesel is being phased out (?) and I get 40 mpg with a real mix of driving. It looks great in the soul red colour, many friends have commented on it. Driving on country roads is a real delight, I think only my Honda S2000 from ten years ago beats it. Very precise steering and it runs round corners on rails.

The engine has been set up to give the driver a good noise, I have no idea how it sounds outside the car! It's firm and comfortable for long trips and takes a power trolley and full set of golf clubs sideways in the boot with no problem. Ancillary controls such as the satnav, phone and sound system are very good. Take a test drive if you a considering a quality mid-range saloon including the Mercedes and BMW options.
