Mazda 2 (2015 on)
1.5 105ps SE-L 5dr Hatchback Soul Red.
Attractive and easy to drive.
However, we have been disappointed by the after sales service from the dealer and Mazda UK. The air conditioning failed in the first year, which was repaired under warranty. It failed again in May 2017.
Mazda tell us the condenser failed and they are having problems with condensers on Mazda 2's and CX-3's. This has entailed a re design of the part and sourcing a new supplier. They don't expect parts to arrive in the UK until August 2017.
We do have a loan car, (Ford Fiesta) but would like our car returned. We are told there are several hundred cars affected. Mazda seem to be living with the problem and not taking any pro active initiative or keeping the customer informed, we have to chase.
The confusion I have is, either the newly designed/sourced parts are not available yet, in which case all new Mazda 2, CX-3's have a likely incipient failure of the air con, or the new parts are getting onto the new cars, but Mazda don't care about their existing customers.
