Very dependable supermini

Owned the car 10 years and 75K miles from new and proved itself to be very reliable over the time I had it. Only things that went wromg were the electric tailgate lock and the fuel pump both of which were replaced. Also had to change one of the seat belts which stopped retracting properly (a known Mazda fault apparently). Not bad considering it was used almost every day.

Decent enough to drive, light steering, suspension too firm over bumps but interior quality was excellent, no major wear in seats, no rattles at all even after 10 years and nothing broke. MPG not spectacular, low to mid 40s in mixed driving, probably reflecting that the engine needed working fairly hard. Boot space apparently not the class best but was more than adequate for us.

Would definitely recommend to those who need inexpensive reliable transport
