The way forward

Ok, I've just retired and decided we need 2 cars. We have a BMW 428i convertible and recently bought a new Lexus Ct200 sport plus.
Most of my working life I held Senior positions within the motor trade so I'm used to all Marques/types. We bought this car for general use and occasional forays abroad and needed a hatch to bring home our plunder.
It seems no matter how I drive it (I do tend to have a heavy right foot) it won't return less than 46mpg and with a bit of nurturing 50+ which for a Premium vehicle I feel is quite good. I am able to plan and plot my journeys to return the best driving experience and indeed it is a bit consuming (I find this a good thing) a little bit of 'B' down this hill, a gentle right foot in traffic.
My car is Sonic white (pearlescent) with black roof, wheels and mirrors which give it (when clean!) A premium look.
All in all satisfied, I did look at full electric but it was still too restrictive on distances and recharging. This, the best of both Worlds.
