Land Rover Discovery Sport (2015 on)
2.0 eD4 150 HSE 5Seat 5dr SUV
The worst product I’ve ever purchased, ever.
Lousy build quality - delivered with inoperative rear wiper and tailgate.
Appalling immediate after-Care, as I was bounced between LRAssist and the dealer (Stratford upon Avon)
I was lied to at point of sale - sold the 5 Year Service Plan for a 5 year overseas adventure, assured it was worldwide cover : lies, it only covers UK.
Bits that fell off including entire rear light cluster, reversing light, dashboard trim panel, and tail gate protector (optional extra fitted by dealer).
Tailgate sounded like mediaeval drawbridge in operation until fixed by dealer in France after 18 months.
Worst SatNav ever experienced - much-vaunted ‘touch-screen’ is so slow to respond as to be unusable. I bought a TomTom and stuck it on the in-car SatNav screen.
Dashboard warning light threatening engine failure came on most weeks - no dealer able to explain why.
“Battery Flat” Warning regularly illuminated, always in error.
Squirly, orange-peel paint on bonnet.
My emails to Ralph Seth were first ignored, then delegated to an illiterate junior who picked one trivial issue he could resolve, and ignored all others.
