Overall reliability

Does what it says on the tin--nice to drive, very cheap to run, not exciting (BMW Z4 for that) but very useful

Tested most of current PHEVs, Kia Niro fitted our requirements best--lots of short (up to 20 miles return ) journeys on electric with some longer up to 400 miles return as hybrid. Body shape and size good for all family type use and 3 dogs in boot.
Surprisingly quick if you use full throttle but amazingly economical if driven normally, comfortable for 5 adults.
Faults--Sat Nav useless--outdated shows my lane as 60mph has been 30 for 10 years, no speed camera warnings. Back seat does not fold flat, no room for skinny spare wheel (bought on E Bay £150 less than Kia price) which has to go on boot floor.
Kia workshops and dealers vary, in my area one good one poor, ask local owners for advice. Handbrake foot operated, feels odd but you get used to it
