after early teething problems whoopee
yes the gearbox went stiff, the clutch was a nightmare and after a lot of dialogue and experiment we found the solution (sturgess leicester) change the gearbox oil to a semi-automatic fluid . problem disappeared. as a techy myself i have monitored this car closely for the 7 years i have now had it. behaved perfectly , a true load lugger genuine 56mpg on a run at motorway speeds, run it at 60 mph and 68 is not unusual. would like to buy another one but not available as new . get a low mileage one and you will pleased. not too heavy on tyres , however front brakes take the toll, just changed the discs and pads aug 22 . cost me 100 quid self fit. cannot fault this car.
