Experience at the dealership

It has a traditional handbrake!

Following my disappointment with the Lexus LBX I thought I'd 'found the one' when I test drove this Puma. After all, I own a 2020 Mondeo. But no!

It took me some time to become used to the new push button handbrake, which is now 'second nature' when I drive my Mondeo and Honda Jazz petrol hybrid. I love that the button releases automatically in both cars when in drive mode.

To see the big traditional pull up / push down handbrake was nothing short of 'a tragedy' for me. I drove the car, and you can guess what happened the first time I pulled away when traffic lights changed to green ...!

Something else I was not expecting: Ford has dispensed with a stalk to the right of the steering wheel. Indicators and windscreen controls are now all on the left stalk. Hmm...

Another car, another disappointment. I think 'someone is telling me' to keep the Jazz!
