Stunning looks dont live up to the promise

Bought this car to replace my aging Mk3 which was possibly the best car I have ever had. Its great but has not met my expectations. Fuel economy no where near stated figures - I am averaging 47 - 48 mpg most of which is motorway miles.
Turn in on bends is sloppy compared to the sharpness you got with the Mk3. Acceleration is OK but 6th gear is a bit too long - leading to gear changes on hills.
Sat Nav looks good but rendered pretty poor by the incomplete UK postcode database - that really is very poor considering the development time this car has had.
Interior looks and feels good but no turn-wheel on seat rake means you cant get the seat just right (in my case) and steering wheel is too far away for tall drivers. A lot of car that could be a lot better.
