Great little car, perfect for modern Britain

Pro's:
Comfortable ride - handles speed bumps and potholes seamlessly.
Good handling - exactly what I expected from a Ford hatchback, I suspect sharing parts with the Mk7 Fiesta has contributed to this.
Spacious cabin - the high roof line means you can comfortably seat 4 adults.
Economical - MPG in the high 40's is easily achievable; with a bit of care you can get 50+MPG which equates to almost 500 miles out of a tank.
Good value - for the age, mileage and general equipment level of the car, plus the 12-month approved used warranty, it was very well priced at well under 10k.

Con's:
Performance - engine lacks oomph, particularly compared with modern turbocharged rivals.
Image - much like the Honda Jazz, the majority of other Ka+ owners I see are either retired or almost retired. However I don't really care anymore because I enjoy driving my little Ka+!
Boot - more of a niggle than anything, but there's no boot release button on the actual boot lid (it's either in the cabin or on the key fob) and sometimes the boot lid doesn't close properly, which you don't realise until you drive off and the warning message comes up...

Driving in modern Britain is a nightmare right now due to high fuel prices, poor road surfaces, ever-decreasing speed limits and sheer volume of traffic. I reckon that the Ka+ is the perfect accompaniment to these by being economical, comfortable and fun to drive even at lower speeds.
