Cute but flawed

I'm a sucker for looks - and big wheels - the Titanium in silver looks fabulous. A high seating position and mid-dash gear lever feels unusual on switching from/between other cars, but soon get used to it.

Good
- style
- sharp handling
- £30 road tax
- electric heated front windscreen

Bad
- crashy suspension on potholed roads
- poor rear vision for reversing
- underpowered on motorway; 60mph is fine, 70 is a struggle
- mpg of around 45 is disappointing (having changed from a 2006 Seat Ibiza 1.4 which easily and regularly gave nearer 50mpg whilst having the required power for motorway use)
- small boot
- notchy gearchange
- overly complicated heater controls; 12 (or 13 ?) buttons to press, when just 3 rotary dials should cater for around 9 of those functions
- radio awkward to use and too far away to safely reach whilst driving
