Brilliant hot hatch, if you can stomach the fuel costs.

Been a great car so far, with effortless pace, great equipment and deeply impressive ride quality for a performance car. No problems so far in terms of build quality and electrics but fuel consumption below par. Thundering it will see easily below 25 mpg, although improves to 29/30 on long run. Average so far is 28.7 mpg. Apart from the fuel drinking problem, been a super hot hatch which outguns an Astra VXR for driver appeal and Megane R26 for quality. No wonder they are such a popular hot hatch favourite, complete with a stunning soundtrack from the 225 bhp 5 pot lump :)
