Overall reliability

Mainly good but spoilt by minor problems.

After deciding to downsize decided to buy this car after reading various reviews.

Firstly it is attractively syled and seems well put together with no rattles or squeaks. In Titanium trim dashboard is attractive and the rest of the cabin is well-designed. Auto gearbox works seamlessly and engine noise is nicely subdue, rarely intruding.

Minus points:
Intrusive road noise from tyres
Instruments not 'aimed' at driver and part of speedo is obstructed by my right hand.
Acceleration is leisurely and engine could do with more power. Whilst fuel consumption is good at 40-42 mpg it would be better on long runs with a higher ratio top gear.
USB port will only play recordings alphabetically - not consecutively.
DAB radio failed when water got into aeriel.

To summarise, a well designed and built car with excellent handling and comfort, but let down my minor niggles.
