Overall reliability

superb car excellent build quality and very quite .

Having bought this from my local citreon dealer Slater of Abergele as a used car direct from citreon after having to trade in our DS3 Hatchback for more room I was very surprised when we took it for a test drive just how silent and refined it was far queiter than the DS3 the engine is the same and although it weighs more than the DS3 it pulls very well cannot tell the difference .The suspension is softer and under most conditions it is excellent rides potholes and bumps very well but can also be a bit wollowey if the road has close undulations but nothing that would make you feel sick .The fuel consumption is excellent I always work out the actual consumtion not what the computer says it is doing and on a day to day running to work mainly dual carrageway and A roads averageing 50mph it is doing 54mpg ,on a run from north wales to gatwick airport the other week I brimmed the tank not in a hurry so set the cruise to 60mph going and 70 coming home a round trip of 570 miles and brimmed it when I got home at the same garage it used 34 litres of diesel working out at a incredable 75.49mpg .I have owned toyota's , fords, nissans, saabs, volvos in the past and this is my 3rd citreon I have never had any problems with any of the citreons but loads of problems with the others . This car is very well build roomy quite and a excellent family car .Take one for a drive you will not be disappointed .I saved a massive £7000 pounds by buying it with 7,000 miles on the clock and the dealer Slaters is a excellent garage always very friendly and helpfull treat all there customers like family a rare thing in these times THE ONLY GRIP I HAVE WITH CITROEN IS WILL YOU PLEASE SUPPLY A JACK AND BRACE WITH THE CARS PLEASE AS OTHER MANUFACTURES DO BECAUSE ALL PUCTURES ARE NOT REPAIRABLE AND WE DO NEED TO TAKE THE WHEELS OFF I CANNOT SEE HOW THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT. AND TO ALL OWNERS CHECK YOUR RECOVERY DETAILS AS CIROEN ASSIST DOES NOT COME OUT TO PUNCTURES UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA FOR IT THE DEALERS DO NOT TELL YOU THIS WHEN YOU BUY. SO IF YOU ARE BUYING NEW OPT FOR THE FULL SIZE SPARE AS IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY .
