I think this car is better with the 8 speeder than the7 so dct

I have reviewed this car before, and my liking for it hasn’t changed a bit. I was expecting to buy the new model , but the reviews so far have put me off. I was not expecting it to feature a dct gear box, and the ride has come in for criticism, even with adaptive suspension
If I could buy my present car new again I would, it’s so hard to fault, maybe I just got a good one, these stories of delays on moving off, I have never experienced, it’s quick! and with non run flat tyres, the ride is acceptable.

So quite a problem replacing it. You can’t ignore the XC40, it’s got lot going for it. but looking from the side, the front brake discs are so much smaller than the X1, and Volvo stands for”safe” and it has a 7 sp. dct box albeit with mild hybrid, which should sort out delays.

I think I’ll just wait and see!
