Practical, comfortable, well finished, doesn’t drive quite like BMW

Love this car, got great price for used one, so I thought why not try the BMW.
A lot of car for the money, difficult to justify going up to X3 or X5.
Well finished, nice interior, infotainment, colour, looks really good with alu trim on X-line, full LED lights etc.
Amazing fuel economy for crossover with 1500kg. I get over 50mpg, according to computer. My 200kg motorbike uses more fuel?!
One thing I hate are brakes, really not worth BMW badge, they feel vague and weak, they do stop the car but with some pressure. They also look tiny and inadequate, I think they get a bit bigger from 20d / 20i on. But still, they are same weight, so why cheap out on decent brakes.
Again amazingly my bike has bigger diameter brakes, with 4 piston callipers. X1 one piston... I know they must cut corners somewhere, but why brakes? People really don’t look at them when buying cars I guess.
