BMW i3 (2013 - 2022)
eDrive 94Ah Range Extender Auto 5dr Hatchback
Nimble and quick and drives just like a regular BMW
Great build quality and smart interior. Switchgear has a good quality feel. Lack of a centre console and transmission tunnel make this car feel very spacious inside. Seats are comfortable and very supportive. Love the mix of fabric and leather. This car comes with so many options already fitted. Heated seats, navigation, folding mirrors, etc.
Car drives and handles well in spite of the skinny tyres. Clamshell rear doors are only an issue if you are picking up a rear seat passenger meaning you might have to get out to let them in or out of the car. This is a minor issue as it is not often I am carrying rear seat passengers. Young busy mums will probably love them when strapping the kids into the child seats due to the absence of a "B" pillar. So that would be a big plus. Have not had to rely on the range extender motor yet but it does take away any range anxiety issues that I had in my previous ev.
This is the second ev that I have owned and it fits my lifestyle perfectly.
