Possibly the most practical car I've ever had.

Never been a fan of BMW. I'm far too sensible and like practical cars, ones you can fill to the rafters for that trip to IKEA, the tip or the family holiday. This car never fails to deliver. The 1.5d engine is rather powerful for a big car, doesn't disappoint on performance and fuel economy is fantastic. The driving position is great, car is not too low nor too high, just the right height. The car has blind spots, worse than most cars, but the front/side sensors make up for this. Being the M Sport it is lowered/stiffer than normal but I find it completely fine. From the reviews I was expecting far worse. The seats are the most supportive I've ever experienced. Great for those bad backs or doing long distance drives. With the recent snow, this car didn't disappoint. Traction and handling were superb, even up hills where many cars failed. All in all, a very good car. Expensive new, but would be a good buy when used.
