Great combination of performance, economy and good to drive

No issues so far, but only had car 2 weeks and purchased from a BWM Dealer with 24000 miles, 1 previous owner. Proper driver's car, very comfortable with precise, if slightly heavy gear change. Brakes are fantastic, nicely weighted steering, seats comfortable, plenty of adjustment in steering.
Not roomy in the back but then I did not need that as children have left home now! Compares very well to the competition in my view - I was looking for a driver's car that was not too big, but with good economy - which is what BWM now offer with their diesel range - probably the best 4 cylinder diesels in the World?
The only downside really is the price of parts, compared to Audi for example. Air filter £45, Oil Filter £13, in my view over priced.
I did take the trouble of contacting the previous owner who had been very happy and had part exchanged for another similar car - enough said?
Fuel economy 44-48 mpg in town, 50-55 mpg on a longer motorway run
