Faultless so far, a pleasure to drive.

I bought our A4 from a large car supermarket as a more spacious alternative to my old vw golf as we needed more space for a growing family. The car was an ex company vehicle with 65'000 miles and full Audi history. I have since added another 15'000 fault free miles. The car has been a pleasure to own and drive, it's a fantastic motorway cruiser lovely and smooth with the excellent 8 speed multitronic auto gearbox. Seems to be returning around 40 mpg's with a good mix of all road types.

I had the cam belt and water pump replaced at the recommended 70,000 miles at a well respected independent in Manchester for considerably less than Audi wanted to do the job ( and they didn't include the water pump at the inflated price).

Some reviews complain at the seating/ pedal position....I don't find this an issue, and the controls and seat are multiple adjustable. The electronic handbrake is a joy to use after my initial doubts I love it!

The boot is extremely deep and easily accommodates most day to day items (including big prams).
Although with the saloon body you are a little stuck with any tall items and in hindsight I would have gone for an avant model for even more flexability.

Whilst the stereo system is good I would go for an MMI equipped car next time with the excellent DVD player, and colour nav system, although this is rare option on an SE model.

All in I would recommend these cars to anyone wanting a premium brand, reliable, useable car.
