A lot more fun than I expected, very quick. Good colour and a lovely black and white leather interior.

I bought this car at a very low mileage 4 years old between the first two lockdowns as a stop gap. I`ve really enjoyed owning it. In the faster mode it really goes very quickly with a lovely bellow of an exhaust note. I have a high mileage life and have done 30,000 miles in two years, a lot of it at speed.

There is never more than two of us in the car, so I find it comfortable, especially with the lumbar and height adjustment I can say it fits me perfectly. It has sat nav and heated seats and a TCT semi auto gearbox. Its the most fun I`ve had in a car...since my Alfasud Ti in the early 80`s!

At 39,000 miles (as I said, most of it in the last 2 years and that is with the lockdowns) I would normally change it. So I`ve looked for the last generation (2020) and cannot find the spec that I have with this one. So, I`m going to keep it for fun and just because I like it. I service it every 8 to 9000 miles as per the servicing spec and it has the best of everything by an Alfa fanatic servicing specialist. So I am a tad besotted, which flies in the face of all the formal reviewers you read. In the last 10 years I`ve had 3 A class Merc`s (current shape) which have been less pleasant to live with in high mileage use, all from new. A golf GTI and two E320 merc`s plus an Infiniti, all nice to drive on long journeys, but this car, in this spec and colour is going to be with me for a considerable while. When I`m in it it feels part of me and the road holding on great roads at speed is a daily joy. I will buy another as a business express (perhaps the veloce) because this car will always be my favourite.
