Surprising
A review of a high mileage 13 year old Giulietta. Bought privately with 125,900 on the clock. I had to sort out some issues (tyres out of shape, suspension geometry and a few rattles). The car now has 137,000 miles and runs well. It has always started and has been looked after by previous owners. It does about 40-45 mpg running locally and 50-55 mpg on a long run. As an Alfa enthusiast I am biased but the car is clearly capable of high mileages and has proved reliable (so far !)
All cars have some specific faults and most modern cars are reliable so if you are thinking of getting an Alfa - be brave and try one - other Alfa drivers will wave at you because they understand about Alfa ownership
