citroen c crosser - fuel pressure - treezy

Car started occasionaly juddering at 70mph 2000 revs on an incline. This week ecu light came on put car in limp home mode. Took it to garage who diagnosed fuel pressure low with their plug in device. However when checked the fuel pressure was reading ok. Took it on a run and went no problems. Ran ok for a week and now ECU light back on with same diagnosis reset again but when took it out on a run this time when on an incline car cuts out. ? cause. Would changing diesel fuel filter make any difference or could it be the fuel pump?

We are incapable of working out whether petrol, diesel etc...

70 mph, 2000 rpm, would wager its a diesel.

Are gasoline motors fitted with diesel fuel filter?

Restrixcted fuel filter triggers low rail pressure under load but will show normal rail pressure at idle.

TBH guys Treezy did ask whether changing the diesel filter would help so i think that gave the game away that its a diesel ?
